I have been very happy to learn and assist Eric Anderson with his Rochester Art Center installation, First Person Plural. An installation that uses TensorFlow to combine the
portraits of over 5,000 people into a video interactive work expressing both our individuality and our plurality. This installation opens
June 23 at the Rochester Art Center in Rochester, Minnesota.
In this project, I worked with post doctoral fellows to image mice with Patient Derived Xenograph (PDX) tumors and plan micro-dialysis catheter implantation. With far less stability than
larger animal stereotactic equipment (e.g. Pig, Monkey,...), we were able to achieve some of our targets within 1/2 millimeter.
This website is built on a responsive template and run from an apache server configured to serve WebGL content. It also relies on a configuration of Elastic Block Storage (ESB) and Elastic IPs
on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
I have spun up EC2 instances on AWS to run deep learning models. Also, a specific instance was used to host a Python application for distributed segmentation of brain tumors. Appropriate
resources were needed to balance the demands of thirty simultaneous users.
