This is a dynamic visualisation of a brain tumor. Scrolling the mouse wheel will increase or decrease the size of the tumor. Data is acquired from a numeric model of a brain tumor and portrayed using a level-set method. Visualization framework written in Unity 3D and exported to WebGL.
The Allen Institute for Brain Science has produced some stunning depictions of a mouse brain. This has been integrated into a 3D Slicer project and exported to Unity 3D for visualization.
The Surgical Planning Laboratory of Harvard University has produced Slicer projects of high utility in education. Exported to Unity 3D and depicted here is the human brain. See their Open Anatomy Browser for an additional interface.
